Does this make ANY sense?

As you say, everything consists of energy vibration and a hierarchy of frequencies. As you say, 'we can focus our minds to focus . . .' etc; however, don't overlook that 'you' are also subject to influence of vibrations from external forces which effect the way you perceive things - Not just religion - peer pressures, society norms & traditions, ancestral & cultural background & influences. All of these forces have combined over your lifetime to build up your ego and personality, and must be dissolved before you can 'manipulate' anything - even your own thought patterns.
